As you will be aware the guidelines around self isolation and testing changed on the 24th February.  Please see below the guidelines that directly affect children and young people attending educational setting.

Confirmed cases of COVID 19 – symptomatic and asymptomatic

Children and young people with COVID-19 should not attend their education setting while they are infectious. They should take an LFD test from 5 days after their symptoms started (or the day their test was taken if they did not have symptoms) followed by another one the next day. If both these tests results are negative, they should return to their educational setting if they normally attend one, as long as they feel well enough to do so and do not have a temperature (government guidance 24th February 2022).

LFD Testing

Children, young people and staff attending alternative provision settings, are still advised to continue twice weekly LFD testing.  LFD tests will be provided to students as they were previously by school.  Please can you  encourage your child to continue twice weekly testing.

Thank you for your ongoing support with this.
